Laser hair removal works by using controlled flases of light to penetrate the area of skin being treated. The light is then absorbed into the hair follicles. The heat generated in the process targets and destroys the hair and its potential for regrowth.
During your treatment, the area will be cleansed and shaved. Using the IPL hand piece, gentle light pulses are emitted onto the skin reaching the hair follicles. The light pulses may feel like a slight sting or pinch.
